Our Story
Salim Omar, CPA founded eSenshi after receiving requests from past and potential clients for financial strategy and accounting specific to the eCommerce industry.
These clients made it clear to Salim the difficulties eCommerce businesses were running into when looking for an accounting firm that truly understood their business model and struggles.
This realization led Salim on a quest to build a solution for eCommerce businesses—one who could assist with their struggles and someone they could trust as a partner.
During this quest, Salim stumbled across Shawheen Amirkhizi, a long time eCommerce guy with a background in accounting and an in-depth knowledge of the financial data struggles online retailers have.

His education includes a unique blend of two financially-based accreditations: Masters Degree in Accounting and a Certified Public Accountant. His professional background includes experience as a former Chief Financial Officer and, for the last twenty-five years, as a serial 7-Figure entrepreneur.
He is host of The E-Commerce Money Map Podcast, a show dedicated to exploring the financial side of an eCommerce business. He is also the author of the popular ebook “Straight Talk About eCommerce Business Success.” His articles appear in publications around the country including prestigious industry publications such as Accounting Today and The CPA Journal. Shawheen is a enthusiastic eCommerce Guy with 12 years of experience as a multi-channel owner.
Shawheen started his entrepreneurial ventures at the age of 18, in the midst of the great recession and with $1000 in savings. With this he grew his first eCommerce store to 6 figure revenue within the second year of operation. His drive led him to continue building the business while in college and through his bachelors degree in accounting. Over the years he has operated on multiple shopping carts, and online marketplaces and currently owns two Shopify stores, two Etsy accounts, and an Amazon store.
In 2013 he competed in the John P. Ellbogen $30K Entrepreneurship Competition at the University of Wyoming. This competition challenged him to take a deep look at his business, and formulate an in-depth business plan. He presented this plan to a panel of business advisors, owners and judges who chose his plan as the first-place winner.
He combines his experience in eCommerce and his accounting degree with a passion to bring order to other eCommerce business owners' messy, disorganized books. He's seen the difference clear, actionable numbers have made in his own businesses, and is now creating a measurable impact for his clients as well.
